Comprised of five members, instrumentation includes Banjo, Acoustic Guitar, Fiddle, Harmonica, Upright Bass, and light Percussion. Their sound is energetic and creative. A deep, introspective message underlines the up-tempo, foot thumping melodies and hooks as The Boys explore subjects such as love, philosophy, environmentalism, booze, and death.
Gypsy Lumberjacks

The Gypsy Lumberjacks are a band based out of Minneapolis, MN. They debuted as the Lumberjacks in the summer of 2008 at the Bella Sol Music Festival. The year previous to this show was spent on various stages around Minneapolis performing as a nameless, creative force directed at creating fresh sounds with an open mind towards what defines a melody. By the summer of 2008 the group settled on the name Gypsy Lumberjacks and hit the road. They have been touring regularly ever since. Initially, Gypsy Lumberjacks was a name known only to those familiar with the Midwest festival circuit. However, through constant travel their circuit now reaches fans in Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, as well as the greater Midwest area.
The Lumberjacks are proficient at exploring new spaces with their respective instruments while at the same time incorporating solidly constructed songs. Their live show is based largely on improvisation and as a result many of the songs change with time and take on new elements over the year. Their influences stem from a mix of Americana, Flamenco, Gypsy Jazz and Bluegrass resulting in a very danceable, warm sound.
