More Than Lights
More Than Lights
More Than Lights is Zach Combs, Unicus, Natalie Fine, Reuben Rodriguez, Matiu Unga, Corey Hess, and Joshua Jellyfish. Together, they make all sorts of fresh music. It brings together hippies, hip hop heads, hipsters, hamsters, and everyone else under the sun.

The Electric Prescription For All Your Funky Illz, the band's first album, was released in November 2009. Their songs "Everywhere We Go"... and "Be With You" became infectious fan favorites across the Midwest along with the title track, "The Electric Prescription...". The album continues to receive national radio play and television placements on networks such as MTV.

After spending most of 2010 touring and recording, More Than Lights completed their sophomore effort; their EP, Fun's On Our Team, in January 2011. The release party at The Fine Line in Minneapolis was to a sold-out crowd. The new EP displays the high-energy and unique style the band brings to all of their live shows. It's blend of Dance, Funk, and Soul draws from their widely acclaimed 2009 debut. The songs reflect the inclusive familial attitude they've become known for.

Succeeding in forming their own niche by creating music as diverse as their seven member line-up, More Than Lights has consistently performed their contagious signature high-energy show provoking crowds all across the country.

After spending most of 2011 touring, More Than Lights is back in the studio recording their much anticipated third effort set to release in 2012.

Culture Cry Wolf
Culture Cry Wolf
An interesting and unprecedented blend of Minnesota hip-hop and reggae, punk, and ska music, Culture Cry wolf entered the local rap game about a year ago with a very unique but well-crafted sound. The combination of sunny melodies, smooth rapping and live guitar and trumpet give the band an uplifting positive vibe, and the two-plus genres are blended together smoothly and effortlessly. Performing many live shows around town, the energy they bring to the stage is impressive to say the least. Their lively music neatly captures the energy and atmosphere of a sunny summer afternoon in Minneapolis; their live shows could melt the ice off the roof of any venue. Their musical inspiration is clearly varied, and each genre that inspires them speaks through the music and adds to the warm and energetic sound. This six-person rag-tag assembly of talented musicians somehow manages to create an entirely unique blend of several musical styles seamlessly, and their creative music has made quite a splash in the local musical scene.
