The show delivers a solid, high energy performance of Talking Heads music, spanning the band’s entire catalog. When you attend a Slippery People performance, expect to want to smile a lot, and dance like crazy. Talking Heads music is highly infectious, and gets everyone at the show on their feet and off the wall - band and crowd alike! You’ll indeed recognize songs Like “Burnin’ Down The House”, “Girlfriend Is Better”, “Wild Wild Life”, “Road To Nowhere”, “Psycho Killer”, “Take Me To The River” and other radio hits from their collection of studio albums and live concerts. The show is also loaded with many other dance worthy, feel good, infectious grooved Talking Heads songs that take Slippery People’s show to glorious heights on the live stage!
Slippery People, now in its 9th season, is comprised of some of the Twin Cities’ most dynamic and experienced performers. The group features members of local and nationally popular bands Wookiefoot, Nicholas David Band, Frogleg, I Like You, Mikel Wright and the Wrongs and others.
